Inspiration #25
Time to get so fresh and so clean. Grab your rubber ducky or a glass of wine, we’re looking at the luxury of a soaking tub this week.
This is the latest in a weekly post of residential architecture inspiration. If you want to see past weeks, you can go here. If you want to see them curated on my pinterest (sometimes before they even hit the blog), go here.
This giant soaking tub in Port Melbourne by Bloom Interior Design looks big enough to be a small sailboat. Fed either from a floor fixture or rainfall head from above, this looks like heaven. The garden right outside the window is just icing on the cake.
Architect Randy Bens created this serene bathroom space with a soaking tub for a modern home in Vancouver. I love how the floor tile comes up the wall in this linear space, acting as a backdrop for the pear-shaped tub.
This soaking tub comes with a large dose of Asian influence in the minimal qualities and details that allow the simple but elegant materials and fixtures to shine.
The Normanby Residence by Whiting Architects is full of fantastic details and this soaking tub is simply one of them. The simple tub shelf and minimal floor fixture provide a pop to the space in the best of ways.
The soaking tub in this all white bathroom from Jensen Architects matches the rest of the home in its calm serenity. I love the alcoves and minimal hooks, too. Bliss comes in white.
This wooden soaking tub is just one of the many awesome design details by Heliotrope Architects. I love the change in floor material and tile alcove to offset the warmth of the wood.
