The Butcher Block is finally assembled. It was designed to be a functional kitchen island workspace for a small apartment. Made of walnut framing and maple panels thes side shelves and two drawers provide much desired stroage and trash receptical space. The maple butcher block top provides for a food prep area which the existing kitchen did allow for. The piece also enabling two bar stools to fit along the front side.
