Inspiration #28
This week’s inspiration stays in the bathroom. More specifically the shower details – because while a soak tub looks gorgeous, the shower is where the day to day prep happens.
This is the latest in a weekly post of residential architecture inspiration. If you want to see past weeks, you can go here. If you want to see them curated on my pinterest (sometimes before they even hit the blog), go here.
The color and style variation between the wall marble and the floor hexagonal mosaic? Dreamy. The alcove inline with the minimal fixtures? Drooling. The shower details in this space are fantastic.
Same thought, new bathroom. Larger hex tile, wall marble. The shower details are similar but unique…and yet just as beautiful.
This fully open bathroom space has shower details that fade into the larger whole. The connection to nature is soothing – but I can only surmise it’s located in a region with mild climates.
White mosaic in all the places and black hardware to offset it. That’s what I call shower details singing in all the right ways.
Large-format, horizontal tile. Simple hardware. Linear trough drain. The shower details in this bathroom would definitely make me excited about waking up in the morning.
Another reboot, but with a mid-century flair. This image shows that modern bathrooms can look different and yet have the same shower details.
