Inspiration #36

We took a bit of a hiatus while I worked on the new website – ta da! But now it’s time to get back to what really matters – awesome architecture! This week we’re focusing on open shower and tub concepts. So let’s get to it!

This is the latest in a weekly post of residential architecture inspiration. If you want to see past weeks, you can go here. If you want to see them curated on my pinterest (sometimes before they even hit the blog), go here.

Inside Out is one of my favorite Australian sources for residential architecture, and with this open shower and tub there’s little to guess why. This walk-in shower adjacent to the tub is fantastically minimal and the black hardware just pops against the white subway tile wall.

Another gorgeous open shower and tub layout, though slightly separated by the glass divider. I love the elongated hexagon pattern at the shower and all of the natural light streaming into the bathroom.

While this bathroom has a lot of tile going on, the open shower and tub seem to nestle together perfectly in it. This layout obviously isn’t going for space saving, with the extended length and dual shower heads, but it’s beautiful nonetheless.

This open shower and tub space looks like a haven forSaturdayy afternoon soaks. The lines are so clean and the hardware so minimal, it’s all calming to the eye in fantastic ways.

The open shower and tub space in this rectangular bathroom gets creative wit the floor drain and makes good use of the small space. I can only imagine how wonderful picking up a warm tower after a soak in that long tub must feel.

Unplanned and coincidentally enough, this open shower and tub space is the same as the fourth image, simply showing you more of the overall bathroom layout and continued minimal hardware. Love it even more!
