Inspiration #41

Happy Friday! Last week we dug into some patio paver designs and styles…sorry I couldn’t help myself with the pun. It’s late. This week we’re going to take a look at some fabulous lounge furniture to go at the patio level. I’m still toying with the idea of built-in furniture, so let’s jump in!

This is the latest in a weekly post of residential architecture inspiration. If you want to see past weeks, you can go here. If you want to see them curated on my pinterest (sometimes before they even hit the blog), go here.

This first set *actually* isn’t built-in furniture as far as I can tell, but it’s one heck of a sectional! I love the size and clean lines. I can picture a lot of relaxing time spent with friends in this type of setting. And I love the succulent plant wall to edge the space.

This great built-in furniture piece hides in the corner of the yard *and* has pavers to boot! I love the mid-century flair and mix of throws. The wall of bamboo trees also softens the hard spaces just behind it from making the patio too hard and harsh.

A full built-in furniture design, with a bit more of a traditional flare. There seems to be a trend of planters edging the backs of seats. This is an interesting design…perhaps not for actual backed seating, but cushion storage?

Another built-in furniture piece with a planter backing, but this one is a very modern take. It also looks like they’ve incorporated some functionality into the wooden benching for storage capacity.

I love the design of this built-in furniture amid a garden of wildflowers. The wood even appears to be reclaimed, which means the deck board I’m pulling up right now could go to use similarly. The concrete coffee table looks awesome, too.

This is a much more permanent built-in furniture design with cast-in-place seating. I don’t have near this amount of grade in my backyard…or near this amount of budget…but a girl can dream.
